Pointe may have started out as an unsure, anxious dog but we rarely see any of that behavior now. Originally from Calgary Humane Society, we were asked to take her on due to kennel stress, and within a short time, Pointe responded to heavy exercise to work her active body and mind, lots of leashwork and basic commands to help give her structure, and plenty of playtime with other dogs to help her socializing. Pointe continues to play well with larger breed dogs, both male and female, her leashwork is very good and she makes great eye contact. Pointe does have a protective nature of her home, and although she rarely barks, when she does it is loud! Guaranteed to make someone think twice about coming in uninvited! Cats are not for Pointe's world, unfortunately, and we believe she would do well with children over 12 years.
